  8. Part of the scanning software. This Chooser extension allows you to scan on a Silver Scanner. It must be selected from the Chooser before scanning. Unnecessary if you do not have a Silver Scanner.

  12. After you install this extensionn, the LAN Command menu appears near the right corner of the screen, and is available at all times. LAN Commander's Menu gives you instant control of every Macintosh on your network from a single location. Just select a command from the LAN Commander menu, and LAN Commander does the rest. LAN Commander gives the you the power to launch and quit applications, restart and shutdown computers, and perform other common commands such as synchronizing clocks and setting the sound level and monitor depth.

  17. Language Kit Extension
  18. Part Language Kits. This extension provides system support for the integration of scripts (writing systems, or alphabets) other than the primary script. It provides a mechanism for applications to show the menu bar, title bar name, and file names in the Standard File dialog. For example, for the Japanese Language Kit, this extension allows Japanese text to show up in Japanese application menu bars, the document title bar, and the Standard File Open and Save dialogs. The Japanese Language Kit Extension uses the Japanese Support extension to provide the proper user interface in Japanese. The same is true of the Chinese Language Kit. Note: In the standard Open and Save file dialogs, the file names shown in the scrolling field and text box will show in Japanese only if a Japanese font is selected (in Chinese if a Chinese font is selected) in the Views control panel. Otherwise, the text will be unreadable.
